Ten kms around the coast from St Luce, at the end of a narrow and sheltered bay is Le Marin, with its large yacht marina.
Several yacht charter companies are based here (typically they have catamarans for charter) and yachties sailing up and down the Caribbean will often choose Le Marin as their Martinique base. The yacht club bar is a good place to meet these yachties and listen to their stories as they use the free internet. If you're looking for a job as a skipper or want to be a hand on deck, then post a note on the information board in the bar.
